WEATHER FORECAST FOR COOLLATTIN GOLF CLUB
Click on the link below to obtain an up to the minute report on weather conditions on the course. You will also obtain a detailed seven day forecast for Coollattin.
All are encouraged to take a few minutes off to view these two short videos. The first explains the correct way to repair a pitch mark on a green. The second, which is featured here by kind permission of the R&A, is a tutorial from Padraig Harrington on the code of etiquette to be observed by all who play the game of golf.
In the event of a round being played over 11 holes (temporary greens), in the interest of equity, each players points result will be increased by 35% and rounded off to the nearest point.

CELEBRATING OUR PROUD HERITAGE
Golf has been played in Coollattin since before 1900. However, this year, 2012, marks the 50th anniversary of the formation of a 'club' which welcomed all who wished to play the 'royal and ancient game', irrespective of class or creed.
Research into the history of golf in Coollattin Park is ongoing and it is the wish of our Captains, Joe and Hazel, that 2012 should be marked by a publication outlining our proud history as the second oldest golf facility in County Wicklow.
The content of the HISTORY page on this site has been removed. It has been replaced by a miscellany of interesting facts, old photographs, gleanings from newspapers, personal recollections, past achievements etc. We will adding new material to this page throughout this year, which marks the golden jubilee of our affiliation to the GUI in 1962. Keep a close eye on this page - and do remember that any contribution towards the completion of the picture that we are trying to paint, would be very welcome indeed.

Having reached the last twelve in Leinster by way of winning a qualifying tournament in Leinster Hills they left the other eleven qualified schools in their wake, winning by a clear 5 shots from St Mary's De La Salle College, Drogheda.
